Name That Episode, DS9 Edition...

Let's recap: (because I am getting tired of scanning three pages to get the clues)

Experience helps in this job.
Raise a glass.
Very lightweight.
A small step leads to a big leap.
A different way to sleep.

My guess:

If Wishes Were Horses?

You are correct! "EXPLORERS" is the answer.

To explain...

Experience helps in this job... Sisko tells Jake life experience will help his writing, which he takes to heart by repeating it back when he decides to stay on DS9.

Raise a glass... O'Brien and Bashir get drunk.

Very lightweight... the solar ship has a light mass relative to its size, which is how the tachyons grabbed it.

A small step leads to a big leap... the trip was going to take days, but the tachyons put them in the Cardassian system, which is far away.

A different way to sleep... hammocks are used in the ship by the Siskos.

Your turn, mlbach.

"THE ASSIGNMENT"?

Rom works the overnight shift usually, but works with O'Brien to help his assignment.

You see the Pah-Wraith a bit while Keiko was hit with the charge. At least, it looked like it to me.

From the start, Keiko was not herself. Danger, Miles! Danger!

And every episode should have at least a little bit of Garak.

Good guess, but no.

I agree that a little bit of Garak in an episode is always a good thing, but I was actually refering to an earlier role by Andrew Robinson.

He plays the bad guy in a Dirty Harry... You can't tell it's him though.
