Name That Episode, DS9 Edition...

Dr Bashir, I Presume?

Colors can be confused, Bashir's parents mistake Bashir for the EMH.
Romance can be profitable, Zimmerman's romantic pitch to Leeta.
Special toy, Kukalaka is referenced.

Got to say, that's a great analysis and guess. It is wrong, though. But an impressive analysis.

Next clue...

Love and games.

What other episodes have romance...

In His Way, romance is very profitable for Quark.

Mixing up colors, I don't remember if there was an outfit difference between fake Kira and real Kira, but that would work. Love and games, also applies. Special toy, I guess that could apply to lots of things on the holodeck.

I'll go with that for my next guess.

I love that these little games can enlighten interesting aspects of the episodes. However, it's been almost two days.Shouldn't the clues start to become less obscure?

Shadowplay?

A few of these clues have been getting so interpretable they could equally apply to ten episodes. Starting to feel like Agent Cooper. :)

Ding, ding, ding! To explain...

Colors can be confused... Jake is struggling remembering what color isolinear rods go to which ones.

Romance can be profitable... Quark tried to use Bareil so they would get romantic to get around Kira paying too close attention to Quark so he can make a big profit.

A special toy... Odo turns into the spinning top for Taya.

Love and games... Kira and Bareil finally share their feelings for each other after they play a game of springball.

Disappearing arm... Taya's arm disappears when it goes past the zone.

It is your turn.

In honor of feeling like Agent Cooper, I will give you three clues.

1) There is a man in a shimmering bag.
2) With probes, he points.
3) The wounds are not what they seem.

Nope.

Small extra hint, the definition of 'bag' here might be very loose.

I based the wording off these clues from the three hints the giant gives Cooper in Twin Peaks, so in all fairness to people who haven't seen it, here are the original clues:

There is a man in a smiling bag.
Without chemicals, he points.
The owls are not what they seem.

If that gives you more insight into what I was thinking with my word choice. :)
