#4 a lethal pastime?--Worf twice made reference to killing opposing players.
#5 protest--Sisko, Worf, and Solok protested decisions by Odo the umpire. Also, Niner team members wanted to boycott when Sisko kicked Rom off the team.
#6 new vocabulary--Niners studied the terminology of baseball trying to learn the game.
#7 celebration--Niners celebrated a single run on the field and later at Quark's bar.
#8 not really there--The crowd at the ball game were not really there and were turned on and off and on again.
