Myriad Universe?

What if...

Kirk's middle initial had stayed "R"?
Sulu had not had an annoying fascination for timepieces?
Spock really did catch his head in a mechanical rice picker?
Chekov had kept on wearing a Beatle wig?
Matt Decker had shaved that day?
Tribbles just loooooooved Klingons?
Spock played a harmonica instead of a Vulcan harp thingy?
Kirk liked being in Janice Lester's body?
Scotty multiplied his repair estimates by a factor of six instead of four?
Kirk liked to lose?
Sisko hadn't shaved his head?
Data remembered that he did use contractions?

What, you think he didn't?? Just because he didn't want to live there didn't mean it wasn't a nice place to visit... :D

Good point! I'm sure while he was visiting, he had a tour round the local sights, took in the scenery...

Kinda like the Farscape scene where John Chrichton was in Aeryn's body. Just to warn you this is slightly crude, I don't want to offend anyone. clip

Certainly one of the security guys does. There's a scene where he gets a little handsy on Lester-Kirk.

What if Shatner's academy book becomes a movie and thus cannon?

How does making something a movie turn it into a large projectile weapon?

Although on the other hand, a lot of movies are bombs....

I've always wondered what would have happened had Khan succeeded in killing Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise. Maybe he would've created the Genesis Planet, and then had a run-in with Kruge.

^ The Genesis Wave creates a beautiful planet, but it turns Khan himself into a plant. He grows and grows, but nobody ever finds him.

He is... "The Undiscovered Khan Tree".

When can we expect an announcement of what the concepts actually are for the six MyrU novels? The hypotheticals are fine, but it would be nice to know at least one real case.

I'm thinking it will probably be a couple months, because thee first isn't coming out till July, and those kinds of announcements seem to be coming later and later as time goes on.

^ I know that A Gutted World hasn't gotten final approval from the good folks at CBS yet, so it's quite possible that a) some combination of the other five also haven't been approved yet and b) more details won't be forthcoming until that happens.

And in my case, even if some plot details get revealed, I'm not going to say what, exactly, the point of divergence is, because that takes the fun out of finding it out as you're reading.

I will say that AGW mixes together elements of several different 24th-century series......

Khan is discovered to be the driving force behind the crab like aliens who wanted to take over the Federation, in...."Khan-spiracy".

He also becomes a poet, in "Prose and Khans".

Then there's the musical: "Khan't Stop the Music".

Which is useful, since several of the ST II Eugenics gang were Chippendale dancers.
