My wife will be on Fringe, Jan. 11th

My wife shot at the end of last season an episode of Fringe, and they are FINALLY going to air it.

Jan. 11th.

She plays an ER doctor. I think. Well. She plays a doctor.

Anyway.

I'm pretty excited.

Ooo - she'll probably have a duplicate on the other Earth, too. Just think of the possibilities! ;)

Yes, Fox decided on a special airing after a first run episode of House, in part to try and generate some sampling to improve ratings, and-this is internet buzz, to screw with NBC's rearranged lineup...the return of Chuck at 8pm followed by Heroes in it's old timeslot.

Fox will succeed in altering my priorities on Mondays. I'll have to dump Heroes (and maybe catch up with it online or On Demand). This would have happened anyway after the return of 24.

That's awesome. I wish I was on Fringe. I'd want to hang out with Anna Torv and John Noble!

My wife was on set all day, and she ended up at the same lunch table with John Noble and the costume ladies. She said she liked him a lot.

Did she say "Do the Mr. Papaya thing. Just once."? ;)

No. I'm afraid not.

Does anyone know why they didn't air this ep during season 1?

(Congrats to your wife btw, Professor Zoom)

From what they told her, they has always planned on airing this episode in Season two, towards the beginning we thought, and they told her it was budgetary reasons for shooting it now. Maybe they had money left over...which is weird to me, but, whatever...

Edited to add: I'll pass on the congrats, we're happy it's finally airing.

Well considering who's in this episode, it doesn't make much sense to air it during season two.

Maybe the episode requires recognizable New York locations so they had to shoot it before moving to Vancouver.

No, the other dead guy.

You mean Charlie? I wonder how they'll handle that...

Supposedly there were going to be some slight touches here and there to make it fit with season two, but who knows if that actually happened.
