My version of Kronos 1 study model

Such crisp detail, I tip my hat to you!
I had no idea they were considering a new design for Gorkon's ship. Such a shame we missed out on this.

UPDATE...
Added some detail to the top part of the impulse engine.

I think they work very well. Fits perfectly with established Klingon hull designs. They appear to have a kind of layered ablative armor and what you have there definitely seems to match what's come before.

I think flipped might work better, as the wider part would be forward... but that's my 2 cents. Either way it's still epic!

Dude I love your work, I have followed it for years, including this one, man you put so much detail it takes forever to see the finished product, but I'm sure it'll be beautiful when it's finished!

Yes, Bill built it and gave it to our mutual friend Jon. Bill has at least two other study models that I know of.

I’m curious if he has the small model that was seen inside Spacedock. Not the tug shuttle (which you’ve already shown) but the thing that looks like a dumpster underneath an opening with a ramp. I can show you a screen cap if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

No, he doesn't, but I asked him about it once. Let me look through old messages I posted here because I think I explained what he said...

Ah!

It was a model of some sort of "tug" that was part of the interior model set . It may have been a design or early prototype for the merchant man vessel as I recall. —Bill George

I'm loving XFozzboute's work on the model so far, and thinking that this type and level of detailing might have been added to Bill George's model for the real deal eventually. As completed, the study model looks a bit plain for the regal role intended, although a worthy warship for the Klingons.

Do we know what George made that model out of? An all-new mold or a kitbash?
