My theory on why Kes wasn't a more beloved character. Also opinion on Lien. post-"Voyager."

In My head canon....in first contact a few drones made it to earth. We saw this in enterprise (or something like that...dr flox had someone who was assimilated) the hansons heard about this and wanted to find out more about the rumors of those cybernetic beings
That's how my head canon has always aproached this idea as well. The concept of someone getting hold of classified data or something being made classified is a pretty good place to go when trying to cover canon errors. Time Travel creating alternate events works almost every time as well. :)

Yeah that's basically where I'm at.

Can easily see Starfleet burying the events of Regeneration, but there being rumours...

Also in Generations, the Enterprise B rescues 'El Aurian refugees.' starfleet must have had some interest in what they were the victims of.

It's not hard to imagine a rather cool series of rumours about 'the Borg' between the 2250s and 2360s and so it was only a matter of time before some idiot went off looking for them.

Phlox is so awesome. Usually when someone is infected, they need saving(Or Picard just shoots them). Phlox just irradiates himself.

I don't see any issues with "Borg continuity." There was an incident in 2060 - which led to an incident in 2150 - which led to an incident in 2360 something-which led to the incident with Q-which led to the thing with Picard/Locutus - which led to an incident in 2060.

Causal loop complete.

Phlox himself was assimilated by the 2 Tarkaleans he was treating who had been assimilated. But he did something to eradicate the nano-probes from his body.

Works for me ;)

So much for that excuse.
And I could actually regard the comment about "not rational enough" as a personal insult too.

But why argue? The witch is dead, ruined and humiliated so let us be happy and embrace it with energy and enthusiasm.
Celebrations!
You're both taking things a bit too far. Lynx...step away from the thread before you get yourself in trouble again. We've gone down this path before. Not liking Kes doesn't make someone the enemy.

Liking Fury is not a personal attack.

This is just weird. You're not rational enough to debate with.
unimatrix7 you're being pretty rude and approaching a warning for trolling/flaming frankly. Debate about the character all you want, don't rip on fellow posters..
