cus Canis D's parts for the Excelsior are just too big for me to use in paint and im no good with the more complex paint programs :)
 
That connie excelsior hybrid looks great. Now I seem to remember the Excelsior hull itself having less prominant lower sensor boxes around the dome...
 
So, this pod has been increased in height rather than reduced in length compared to a standard Oberth-type pod? Would be interesting to see an Oberth-type primary hull with this underneath, or at least a size comparison with a standard Oberth.
