My newsletter about Star Trek and utopian thought

Hi everyone. I'm a university professor who teaches a class about Star Trek and the history of utopian thought - everything from Plato to Thomas More, Karl Marx, and modern science fiction including Star Trek.

I'm also writing a newsletter which is a workshopping version of a book about this topic. I'd love it if some real Trek fans read or subscribed. I am doing it for you folks - people who can appreciate the deeper utopian themes in Star Trek. The link to the site is below. Thanks! LLAP

Not perfect, not "terrible". Needs another pass of proofreading. Not sure you can bring up anything that many of us haven't already went over a hundred times.

We'll see what the future brings.

Appreciate this very measured response :)

Hi all. I thought instead of posting a new thread I would bump this to let you know about publishing the second issue of my newsletter.

This week I explore the idea of utopia and what it might mean to consider Star Trek as a utopian view of the future. I talk about TNG "Justice", TOS "The Cloud Minders" and also "Space Seed and "Charlie X"

I'd love it if you wanted to read and subscribe!
