Hi everyone. I'm a university professor who teaches a class about Star Trek and the history of utopian thought - everything from Plato to Thomas More, Karl Marx, and modern science fiction including Star Trek.

I'm also writing a newsletter which is a workshopping version of a book about this topic. I'd love it if some real Trek fans read or subscribed. I am doing it for you folks - people who can appreciate the deeper utopian themes in Star Trek. The link to the site is below. Thanks! LLAP

Well I'm too old for that but I think it's a good idea to teach students something about Star Trek
It belongs to our culture, just like Shakespeare.
