And I'm pretty sure that Castro has always been a devout Catholic for most of his life as well. And even announced in the early 90s that his government was secular, and not specifically Atheistic. Ergo, the post is not only not a threadbomb, per se, and not particularly funny, but also not particularly truthful either.
Perhaps you've misunderstood the point of the thread. It isn't "My God, it's full of deadly serious yet misguided commentary about the always hilarious subject of genocide!" Where's the funny? Where's the thread bomb? Where's the history book that taught you that Hitler was an atheist, so we can burn it, somewhat ironically?

Okay, I'm sorry for posting the picture in the first place, it wasn't funny (or intended to be so). I was trying to make a serious comment about how atheists are just as guilty of horrible crimes and hypocrisy as are us Christians. I should have known better than to do it in a thread devoted to funny pictures. Mea Culpa. I promise it won't happen again.
