My God, it's full of THREAD BOMBS!

^That one is very cute. :)

It has grammar fail though. It ought to be "Mo thóin. Póg é". (It needs an accusative pronoun, because "é" is the object of a transitive verb.)
It figures, and my knowledge of Irish is on the short side of rudimentary, so I didn't spot it.

I'll make note of it, though, and maybe do up a grammatically-correct version one of these days. ;)

Silly cat. It's never Lupus!

This made me laugh, but I've had some health problems over the last couple of weeks and have been joking that I probably have lupus given the number of things that the doctors are saying are wrong with me. (A friend actually asked, in a comment on my Livejournal, if I'm auditioning for House.)

I'm weird that way.

^ In English, please? ;)

Translation: Trek fan is obnoxious pedant. ;)

Which Trek fan are you talking about? :wtf:
Relax, Baba, it's not you; stop trying to take offense at everything. She was talking about her own explanation concerning the thread bomb's grammatical incorrectitude (which, while technically pedantic, I didn't think was at all obnoxious.)

that's nothing, there was a story a year or more back, about a couple from Germany who were raised in such a strict Christian background they didn't even know about sex. they literally slept together but had no idea how sex worked. the Doctor had to explain it to them and they were in their 30s IIRC.

^You'll have to help me out with that one. I'm not familiar with most of Mariah Carey's work but I'm going to assume they got the name of the song wrong.
