Actually, there was one time is season 4 where the person really did come in with Lupus. I was saddened by this, as it broke the only absolute rule that I understood about the universe: It's never Lupus..

I didn't know that the team itself was called "Real Madrid" instead of just Madrid. So, it's "Royal Madrid," then?

Except in Spanish the adjective goes AFTER the noun (although I am seeming to remember random instances where they break their own rules).

Like all languages, they have things that break their own rules. My common advice is that if it doesn't make sense, then it's most likely wrong.
My neighbor's an expert on the subject, I'll ask him to weigh in on it.
'weird' is, I believe the only exception in British English once the modification "when the sound is 'ee'" is added to the end of the rule. But at least one of my American friends pronounces 'leisure' 'leesure' so buggers that up for those over the pond.
