My car and my future

In an emergency a hammer is any tool, and any tool is a hammer...

you need only three things to fix an american car. WD-40, duct-tape and a hammer. if you swap it for an sledgehammer, that kit can fix russian cars as well.

I decided to hit it with a hammer. A whole chunk of the old batter came off with the clamp, but I was able to remove it.
I hope you were wearing eye protection when you did that. Batteries can be dangerous things to fool around with. They're full of acid, you know.

Those are the only tools you need to fix ANYTHING.

If it moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. Anything else, smash it with the hammer and get a new one.

Yeah, I had glasses on. I actually have a cousin who is blind because battery acid shot in his eyes.

I wasn't banging the hell out of it or anything. Just some light tapping with the hammer.

Every problem can be solved by applying violence.. if the problem wasn't solved you didn't apply enough violence.

Are you going to tell us how your interview went?

Okay, so, the interview was meh. This is the third interview I've had for this company. Today consisted of a bitchy lady giving me dirty looks any time I answered a question (not a good sign), followed by some assessment tests and a drug test. They claim they don't even bother with the drug test unless you're one of their top choices, so that is good.
.

:p

How did I miss that post?

Have all your interviews been one to one, or have you had some panel interviews? I am happier being interviewed by a panel of three or four people than I am being interviewed by one.

My first interview was one-on-one with the HR rep, the point of which I assume was to determine that I'm neither crazy nor retarded.

The second interview was with 3 managers, where they did some behavioral questions (ex: Explain a situation when _____ happened and how you handled it). I got along really well with all of them, and I thought it was a good interview.

The third interview this morning was with 2 different managers, one of which was the bitchy lady, the other of which may have been a robot. He said almost nothing and didn't seem capable of expressing human emotions.

Then there was a bunch of testing, which included a personality test and grammar tests, along with the fun drug test at the very end.

Join this forum and ask them ANY question related to your van on there. No matter how silly it seems.

I have a 1994 Town And Country. That group has kept me on the road long beyond the expected "lifetime" of my van because... well collectively they know EVERYTHING there is to know and they can explain it too.
