My 1/350 TOS enterprise build will be in "SHIPS OF THE LINE"

OK, I don't have a SOTL page, but I'm in a Stribling cover!

Another nice honor!

Michael L.Stribling, Artist, Asked to use an Image of my 1/350 TOS Enterprise build for the Gold Key Star Trek Comics archives VOL 5. You can see my build on the beautifully illustrated cover here...And a Link to purchase!

BTW, that is terrific. And similar to one of my favorite shots of the old girl from TOS.

Many thanks guys...Here's a composite I did of my model...a screen grab from one of my You Tube videos. A Tribute to one of my favorite episodes.

OK, that is amazing. The only two things that give the photo away are the imperfect matting against the background and the Bussard collectors. The look of those damn Bussard domes is maddeningly difficult to replicate, but yours is as close as I've ever seen with a physical model. Just. freaking. gorgeous.

Many,Many sincere thanks indeed!!!

Here are several Videos featuring my build. Enjoy and Thanks!

Damn, dude - that looks like a production shot from the series! The only thing I would have recommended on this (and I know it's too late, but...) is to add a dim blue reflection of the phaser beam on the front-underside of the primary hull. Other that that, perfection!

This is very impressive work, and congratulations on inclusion in the calendar!

This reminds me... I remember that about eight years ago, a comic book store in my city used to have a model of the Enterprise of similar size in the glass display counter. I think It might still be there... Now I'll have to drop by and take a look, for comparison.

The 1:350 Polar Lights models are amazing. I'm building the TMP refit but I get a bit depressed when I see builds that are THIS good since I know mine is going to fall waaaay short. It is a thing of beauty though.
