Nice. Your nacelle lights are gorgeous. Did you build the First Federation warning buoy, too, or is that just a digital painting?

Huzzah! The amazing thing is that intentionally or not your nacelle lights are very first season. I'm not sure if it was a change to the model or just how it was shot, but the second season lights seemed a little different.

Sincere thanks Guys. The warning buoy is an actual shot from the episode, I have not built one...yet! The Nacelle lights are indeed a tribute to the first season look. I actually have three sets of nacelle caps. I also adjusted the lighting as it was way too bright.

Is that a crack on the right nacelle cap housing or a hair that got into the pic? Then absolute only blemish I can see on an incredible piece of work.

My secret wish is that CBS would use practical models for the SFX on the new show. I know it won't happen, but these static shots and the video clips here show it's possible.

As much as I marvel at the advances in CGI, it's just hard to beat a good practical effect.
