My 1/350 TOS enterprise build will be in "SHIPS OF THE LINE"

I don't mean this in a bad way, but that almost has a Remastered look to it. I suppose that's more of a compliment to TOS-R. :) I love the way your windows looks.

Noticed that as well. The film grain, the lighting, the coloring and composition...almost indiscernible from the "official" version.

Still refining the engine effects...

I received requests to post some pictures of my personal 1/350 Enterprise build...just sitting on a table(yuk!)So without further ado, I present these boring images with no imagination. My apologies. Again, using my reference material of the filming model as it appeared in the series as well as new reference material from the beautifully restored 11'2 filming model.

Done. I looked at the rest, but there's something truly nostalgic about your entry. You've really nailed the paint job.

Mark, for the sake of curiosity, with all the work you put into this model, if you had to put a price on it, what would it be?

First many sincere thanks for your kind words and your vote!! I really appreciate the support! My friend, I don't think I could put a price on this build. I put a lot of work into her and recently did more (the videos), to get the engines Looking like they did during the show...She's a keeper for me!

No worries. I was just wondering if you'd kept track of your time and entertained, even for a moment, the idea of auctioning off your creation if you had too. I hope you keep her safe forever and give her a good home.

Back in 2007 I bought a refit 1701 from the guys who later went on to build the really expensive models for QMX. I never had the skills to do justice to the refit with it's peal-paint scheme and had some cash to burn, so I contacted them and asked if they could build me one. Fortunately I paid considerably less for my model then they're going for now. They even went so far as to include as remote control to fire the photon torpedoes, active the warp engines and change the colour of the deflector. She's beautiful, but not at the level as your grey lady. Found some nice fabric to line the walls and ceiling of an alcove in my basement.
