Well yes, I understand that, I just found the title rather intriguing - I rather doubted it would be an alternate Mirror Universe, but it's fun to speculate. Ain't it?
As long as the speculation is, well, reasonable.Well yes, I understand that, I just found the title rather intriguing - I rather doubted it would be an alternate Mirror Universe, but it's fun to speculate. Ain't it?

^That would still be a form of Myriad Universes, just with a focus on timelines that more closely resembled the MU's than our own.
It could be interesting, but we've already got at least 3 (Dark Mirror, the Shatnerverse, the DS9 Relaunch version)....I'm not sure there's a whole lot of other excitiing possibilities out there...but then, I'm not a Trek writer.
I'm more interested in stories of the kind we've already seen in Myriad Universes thus far, though.

And don't forget Dark Passions and the comic.
Sounds like what you're asking for is for them to reboot the MU. Doesn't seem all that interesting to me but to each his own I guess.
I know it costs money and all (imagine that) but why couldn't you put out an S.C.E. novel/anthology in MM/TB as an expirement and see how it does. But I'm not sure what the problem would be seeing as all the E Books end up that way anyway...
Didn't David already state, that his story would follow up on his sleeper agent plot in Sorrows of the Empire? I believe it was in this very thread.Hopefully we get a follow-up on Memory Omega. Though judging by the title, and the TNG-ish reference, I wonder if this could be something entirely different - a Mirror Universe story where the Terran Empire never fell, maybe?
^What Dayton said. It's not complicated: If you like something, support it. Urge your friends to try it. Spread the word.

What I meant was that for whatever reason the E Books were put on "hiatus", why can't the serious just continue with original new stories as an MM instead of just canceling the whole thing?

More people read the CoE stories in print form than ever did in e-Book form. Even if numbers didn't back that up (as reflected in the small rainforests which have been repurposed to provide my royalty statments) I can tell that much just from reading the various threads that cropped up in here from time to time, including the one where it was announced the line was going on hiatus. How many posts in there read something along the lines of "I never read the e-Books, but I liked getting the collections?"
I'm even willing to bet that a good number of folks who do pick up a CoE omnibus don't even know that the stories within it first saw publication in e-Book form. For them, it's something totally new.

So essentially what you are saying is that if the reprints sell well and make profit for the company then continuing SCE in print form will be considered and reevaluated.
