MU Vanguard in Shards & Shadows

^They can call it Titanic and it can hit a large chunk of ice....

More seriously, I can't imagine how Titan exists in the MU any more than Voyager.

Nice! I take it you are not a fan. As for a actual Mirror Titan, I would imagine
it would be in the same universe as that of the Mirror Sisko mentioned in Fearful Symmetry (The Universe where the Terran Empire was still around). I would like to atleast see the Mirror counterparts of members
of the Titans crew.

I like Titan well enough, I was just trying to come up with a nice tweak for the MU. :)

Haven't read Fearful Symmetry yet, so I'm not really following you...

I would assume the point of an MU Titan story, as previously discussed, would be just like the point of an MU Voyager story...featuring the MU versions of (some of) the individuals involved, but not involving the titular ship itself.

Not my most coherent post ever, but I think I got my points across. :)

I can't believe we are actually getting Mirror Titan, SCE, Vanguarg, and SCE all in one collection. This book is gonna kick ass!

Yeah, but this is the "Mirror Universe," where all the stories take place in the same alternate reality. You're thinking of "Myriad Universes" by those other guys.... ;)

In case it isn't blindingly obvious, my story is the Gorkon one, though it also has a heavy Cardassian presence, also.
After Tales from the Captain's Table, it was hardly obvious, just likely--though you were a likely candidate for the "outside the classifications" story too. :techman: Ah, well. I can still hope it's Nan Bacco, written by someone else, can't I?

Okay, that's a bit odd. You name SCE twice, despite the fact that it wasn't included on my list. :wtf:

But since you brought it up... When Keith and I first started discussing his contribution to Shards and Shadows, we also discussed a Mirror-Corps of Engineers eBook for simultaneous release. Unfortunately, when the eBook-originals program was suspended, that idea had to be abandoned.

Huh? TftCT included a Riker story by the guys writing the first Titan novel, a Shelby story by the New Frontier writer, a Klag story by me, a Chakotay story by the person who wrote the first four post-finale Voyager novels, a Picard-on-the-Stargazer story by the guy who wrote the Stargazer novels, a Kira story by one of the contributors to the post-finale DS9 fiction, and a Demora Sulu story by the guy who promoted her. What was un-obvious about the writers in that volume?

(I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you were thinking of Tales of the Dominion War, where Bob Greenberger wrote the Klag story because I wanted to write the fall of Betazed.... :D )

The guys you call when you absoutely need something blown up real good, real fast?

*facepalm* Yes, yes I was. :alienblush:

Nice lineup of stories. Always had a feeling a Stargazer story would be in here once Mike Friedman's name was announced. This story should be interesting to.

Seems to be more TOS though.

"NoBunga". Interesting title. Sounds African..

Can you elaborate on what you mean by TNG-ish?

And if any of the authors on here are able to, can you tell us what your stories are about?

Is the only reason there's no Mirror SCE story, because of the situation with the E-books? I guess I don't see the connection. This is the MU, after all...

What a great selection of authors. I think this book is #1 on my list of ST books I'm looking forward to the next few months.
