Movies you could watch every day and not get bored

Flying Spaghetti Monster

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Or maybe every other day.. I'm talking about the kind of film you can pop when doing other things.. or that you can put in when you feel like, sit back and enjoy it just as much the 87'th time you've seen it as the 86th time.

Here are a few of mine:

The Star Wars Trilogy
Star Trek First Contact
Star Trek The Wrath of Khan
The Naked Gun
Cloud Atlas
Terminator 2
A Few Good Men
Die Hard
Jurassic Park
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
The Back to the Future Trilogy
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Last Crusade
Tremors

When I was growing up in the 80s, there were a handful of movies that I literally watched everyday for a time:

Spiderman: The Deadly Dust (live action TV movie)
Karate Kid
Back to the Future
Ghostbusters
Superman II (the ABC extended cut with additional scenes)

None. As much as I love movies, I have an excellent memory and would be sick of it after a week.

Star Wars Part 1 (The first movie (The best of the 3))
Star Trek Movies 1-6 (Part 7 is good also (Generations))
Terminator/Terminator 2
Die Hard/Die Hard 2
The Back to the Future Trilogy (Well Parts 1 and 2 anyway)

Marvels Avengers Assemble.
Captain America The Winter Solider.
Star Trek Into Darkness.
Hot Fuzz.
Shaun of the Dead.
Serenity.
Jurassic Park.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith.
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. (Extended)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. (Extended)
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. (Extended)

They're just off the top of my head.

I of course would have put Ghostbusters on there.

It's so great how these films are engaging when watching them again and again; they don't just serve as background.

I still feel something when Sarah see's the terminator for the first time in T2, or when Zefram Cochran walks toward the Vulcan ship to greet them.

Die Hard 1 - 3

Star Wars OT

Raiders

The Big Lebowski

Serenity

Back to the Future

Batman Begins

Star Trek First Contact & TWOK

Lethal Weapon

I can pretty much watch the Lord of the Rings movies whenever. My roommate judges me all the time. "Didn't you just watch this?"

Also, not a movie, but I could easily put Doctor Who on a constant loop all the time.

THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER

I actually did watch it over and over once during a hospital stay. This was before tablets and I-phones. All the hospital had was VHS and that was the only cassette I could get.

Others:

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan
Run Silent, Run Deep
Ghostbusters
Transformers (yes, Bayformers 1...)
Marvel's The Avengers
Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy
Christine
Cujo
Carrie (Sissy Spacek version...)
The Taking of Pelham 123 (Matthau version...)

I wouldn't watch them every day or even every other day because I'd get sick of even my favorite film that way, but these are ones I almost always watch if I come across them on cable.

Any of the Star Wars films
Any of the Star Trek films (even ST5 and Insurrection)
Any Indiana Jones except Crystal Skull
Any Die Hard except 5
Any LotR films but not those dreadful Hobbit movies
The first two Jurassic Park films
Terminator 1 & 2
Independence Day
Serenity
Jaws
Tombstone
Minority Report
Saving Private Ryan
Close Encounters
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
Ghostbusters
Caddy Shack
Anchorman 1 & 2
The Other Guys
Love Actually
National Lampoon's Vacation
Christmas Vacation
Alien & Aliens
The Abyss
Predator & Predator 2
X-Men, X2: X-Men United, First Class, & DoFP
Cap 2: Winter Soldier
Avengers
Ironman
Spider-Man
Any Dark Knight Trilogy film plus Batman ('89)
Superman 1 & 2, Returns, and Man of Steel
Guardians of the Galaxy
Team America

It's comedies for me.

Monty Python & The Holy Grail
Animal House
Blues Brothers
Cannonball Run
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

The last 2 make good use of all-star casts.

I love the LOTR movies, but I have the extended versions, so it would take all day just to watch the trilogy.

Even taking into account movies (and movie series) I love, I'm not sure there is one.

Every day? I don't think any exist. But every month:

The Empire Strikes Back
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Kill Bill
Sunrise
City Lights
Rashomon
Before Trilogy (Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight)
Pulp Fiction
Chinatown
Taxi Driver

The current list of movies I could watch everyday without boredom.

The Blues Brothers
O Brother Where Art Thou?
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

There has been & will be others to come & go, but these 3 seem to stick over the years
