Movies on BluRay: Worth it?

I just got a BluRay player and am really tempted to re-buy the sets but I just don't know. I don't like the idea of double dipping, and I would love to see the picture quality, but it is over $100 on amazon. And it will finally mean I have all the movies, as the only one I don't have is Nemesis. Still, that whole double dipping thing is causing me concern.

I agree, I have all the DVDs of the classic Trek feature film series and have no wish to buy the same thing over again only this time in blu ray. Nothing against it, it just isn't economical for me right now.

I bought the first four Trek movies when the Director's Cut DVDs hit, but stopped short of getting the others. A few years ago, I got TUC on DVD (not the director's cut) and I bought Nemesis on DVD when it came out. Final Frontier, Generations, First Contact, and Insurrection I still had on VHS.

We moved in October and I never got around to hooking up the VCR, but around Thanksgiving, I started watching the TOS movies. I decided last month to spring for the TNG Blu-Ray movie pack and I am not disappointed. The picture and the sound were both great.

While the whole thing is great, I thought it really stood out in certain scenes, such as Geordi's view of the sunrise in Insurrection.
