You see, my father, Dr. Noonian Soong, created it for me on Omicron Theta. When the Crystalline Entity attacked the colony, Dr. Soong had to get off the planet fast. Now he was able to purchase passage on a Ferengi transport, but he knew the Ferengi would steal anything of value he had. Now the way Soong looked at it, this chip was my birthright and he'd be damned if some latinum grubbing, big eared fucker with an ass for a forehead was going to get his greasy hands on my birthright. So he hid it in the one place he knew he could hide something. His ass.
For eight months my father carried this chip up his ass before he landed on that backwater planet. Before he died, he mistakenly installed this chip into my brother Lore. Now, as you know, us androids only have so many places to put new chips. My father, Noonian Soong, installed this chip in the last remaining upgrade port, Lore's ass. Lore wandered the galaxy for 4 long years with this uncomfortable hunk of silicon up his ass.
When we stopped Lore and the Borg, I took possession of this chip. Geordi installed this chip up my ass... That was 8 years ago.
And now, Captain, I want you to take this chip and give it to my brother...
