Most random "Hey, I recognize him/her from Star Trek!" moments

As I understand it, much of the Stargate/Star Trek crossover is deliberate, the producers of Stargate seeking out Trek alumni and asking them to be on their shows.

^And not just Trek alumni, since both of Farscape's leads, Ben Browder and Claudia Black, ended up as Stargate SG-1 regulars in its last two seasons. And Firefly's Morena Baccarin had a recurring role in the last season or two, while Jewel Staite ended up as a semi-regular on Stargate Atlantis.

^Phil Morris appeared in both TOS ("Miri" and The Search for Spock) and DS9 ("Rocks and Shoals"). Teri Hatcher appeared in "The Outrageous Okona."

Seinfeld has a ton of actors in common with TNG

Who, apart from Jason Alexander?

A few names I'm recognizing looking at Seinfeld's full cast list at IMDB...

Heidi Swedberg
Richard Herd
Richard Fancy
Phil Morris
Tom Wright
Stephen McHattie
Bruce Davison
John Paragon
Brian George
Tucker Smallwood
Thomas Dekker
Teri Hatcher
Lee Arenberg
Gail Strickland
Robert Hooks
Matt McCoy
Megan Cole
Vaughn Armstrong
Patrick Cronin
Henry Woronicz
Gene Dynarski
David Graf

These are only names I'm recognizing, and I haven't even been through the complete list. But their combined weights probably equal a ton, so I'll stop there. I didn't bother to determine whether they're only from TNG (and didn't notice that criteria when starting the list), but they've all been in either episodes or films.

And Jason Alexander was on VOY, so I don't know who's confused here.

Not necessarily obscure, but I definitely recognized Picard's Ba'ku babe on Resurrection.

I mean in terms of minor characters. (And Jason Alexander appeared in Voyager).

Lloyd Braun/Devinnoni Ral is the first one that comes to mind, not to mention Teri Hatcher. I suppose they were more common in DS9/Voyager.

Maybe House is a better example of a show where single appearance characters were often single appearance characters in Trek.

Add Lawrence (Cyrus Redblock) Tierney, who did a memorable appearance as Elaine's father.

There's also an ongoin thread in the TOS forum of TOS actors recognized in other shows. I've been trying to provide screen grabs as I find them. I think I lost a bunch when I changed website hosts though.

Last night Penny Johnson appeared in an episode of NCIS that I was watching. I waved at the TV and yelled "HEY, KASIDY YATES!"

I was not quite that spontaneous when Connor Trineer appeared as a villain in another, much earlier, episode of the show.

Not sure if these qualify, but just caught an ancient episode of Dragnet AND and equally ancient episode of Bonanza, where Leonard Nimoy had roles...such a baby he was.

And, I was taken by surpise when I saw a Director credit for Robert Duncan McNeill. Apparently, he is a director of some note.

Also, loved Colm Meany in "Hell on Wheels"
