most annoying tv character in history

How about that bozo Richard Kind played on SG:A? Also Teyla and frankly McKay is starting to catch up with her, he better be careful.

Also, every Ferengi that infested DS9 with the exception of Quark and Nog.

But really they're all small potatoes compared with the gushing cataract of pure unadulterated smugness that is Bryon.

OTOH, Chloe from 24 is a good example of how to deliberately write a character to be annoying and manage to create a great character in the process.

Byron
Spike from Buffy
Dawn from Buffy
Harry Kim
Kara Starbuck
Conner from Angel
Captain Janeway
Neelix
Giaus Baltar(I swear to God he's crying like a bitch in every single scene he's in!)

And for the record, The Ferengi kick ass!

I cannot believe I left out my runner-up in this category: Byron. What a repulsive creature.
How could you possibly forget Byron?! I've been trying to forget him for years now. Please tell me your methods. :p
They don't work; I always end up remembering the creep again. :scream: It's very disappointing. :(

I'll throw in Sikozu (Farscape) while I'm at it. I think of Jool (and that screaming is pretty damned annoying, too) as a third or fourth rate Zhaan; Sikozu is a three or four hundredth-rate Jool. Perhaps even worse.

Stark is kinda annoying, too. But Quark and Byron are waaaay out on their own for mine.

Jool (Farscape) - She was annoying with the shriking. It's probably why I consider Season 2 better than Season 3, but it is a really close call.

Neelix - He's tolorable, but still very annoying most of the time.

I always found Quark an interesting character, he was rather sleazy, but credible. He reminded me of Moe from The Simpsons.

Seeing old Voyager episodes again, Neelix seems more tolerable and somewhat credible. Weesley was more palatable in later TNG stories.

Scrappy and Sebastian Stark's wet daughter...

Almost the entire cast of characters of the new Battlestar Galactica. The only characters that I don't want to space are Doc Cottle, Tigh and Adama. The rest (especially Kara Thrace) should be fed to the mechanical Cylons.

Then perhaps this is further TV sacrilege...

Who?
Perfect Strangers.
Ah, never watched it.
