If you're looking for action, then the season 7 finale, "Lost City" would be a good episode to look at. It also helps that it's one of the best episodes of the series.

you forgot some, unending had fine space battles, to name just one. sga's storm/eye/siege is probably the finest stuff, the battle building up, and raging for days in different locations, both sides employing ever more reserves and adapting the tactics, that was great. not many so far in sgu, and that's its problem. no action but character developement by endless dialogues. boring.
 
I'm sure I did leave out quite a few, however I left Unending out since its action was generic starships shooting at each other with nothing unique about it. Yeah, a planet blows up, but that is surprisingly common place in Stargate.

Ever since Exodus the Taur'i have destroyed several dozen planets. Puts the Death Star to shame.
