Grasshoppers. I ate some when I was in Seattle a few years ago. They are the most popular snack food item for sale at Mariners baseball games.

They were delicious, but I can't say I'd ever do this again. Very expensive, and you don't get much for your money (they cost 4 bucks and you only get a tiny cup of them).

I am COMPLETELY happy with where I live. I love my home, and my city (Omaha, NE); I don't plan to move, ever again.

No, in fact I've never had a pet of any kind.

When I was a kid I used to climb the tree outside my grandparents' house. I was 5 or 6 years old at the time.

Yep. I have a generator. Automatically kicks in if my power ever goes out. Runs off my house's natural gas supply.

10) When was the last time you travelled by train?

When I was in New York City a few months ago. Took New Jersey Transit from Newark airport into the city, and rode the NYC subway every day.

No.

Not a full-blown cruise ship, no. But I'm very fond of river/harbor tours, I've taken some in New York City, Seattle, Chicago, Toronto and Boston.

-A couple of harbor excursions. Most of the big ships hold no appeal.

2) Are you happy with where you live or would you prefer to live somewhere else? It's quiet and clean so I'm happy

4) Have you ever had a rodent as a pet? Georgie the gerbil in the 80s.

5) You have a mystery box in front of you, it is no bigger than a foot cubed. What do you hope is in it? Tubs full of spag bol and chilli made by my mum that I can put in the freezer.

7) What make of car would you most like to own? I like Audi but my dream car has always been the futuristic looking old shape Volkswagen Scirocco in metallic red with electric windows. Alloy wheels, CD player and fluffy dice optional.

8) When was the last time you climbed a tree? Never because being on a stepladder makes me nervous so I've always had a healthy fear of tree climbing. I would be like a cat and can get up there but getting down is where it gets tricky.

9) Are you prepared for a hours long night time power outage. I was thinking of this recently because what I don't have is a decent torch. I have a flashlight on my phone but prefer one of those big handheld torches that makes me feel like a security guard on patrol.

10) When was the last time you travelled by train? 2019 when I visited Stroud in the Cotswolds. I've never done a sleeper train journey and have been looking at the London to Inverness service.

11) Have you ever danced in the rain? I used to go to raves in the 90s.

13) Have you ever been on a cruise? Not a proper cruise but I used to love getting a ferry from Holyhead to Ireland.

I honestly can't think of anything right now... I'll come back to it if I think of something particularly good for this response.

I love where I live and it pains me to hear people complain about my state (Ohio).

A house, finally. My husband and I bought a house right at the beginning of the pandemic, thank goodness. We were living with five roommates!

Yes! When I was a kid, we had gerbils.

A plate of my grandmother's cookies. What I wouldn't give to eat her Christmas cookies again.

Subaru Outback Wilderness. I have a Crosstrek right now.

I work for a park system, so probably within the last week I've scrambled over one or two!

Physically? Yes. Mentally? Noooooooo.

A couple of years ago we took my mom on a mothers day train trip in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Of course!

I work with some amazing people at the parks. Conservationists are the GOATs in my opinion.

13) Have you ever been on a cruise?
Unfortunately yes. My FIL and his wife do cruises all the time and want us to go. They like the kind of cruises where you don't have to do anything and they ferry you around the Caribbean. But part of my resistance is that I've been on one of these before. I've was so bored and mildly seasick the whole time. I wouldn't mind going around Scandinavia on a cruise, though.

Alligator.

Tired of the weather, the traffic, the low wage jobs and the Republican rule, so definitely wish moving someone else was an option.

Using the P.C. term, a pre-manufactured house.

Several hamsters and a gerbil.

The out-of-print blueprints of the Enterprise D I bought for a very good price on Ebay but never received even though the seller insisted they sent it, but eventually gave in and refunded me and now I've rarely seen for sale elsewhere and at a reasonable price since.

Lions or tigers (but not bears...oh my!)

7) What make of car would you most like to own?
AMC Pacer (don't judge me!)

Likely when I was a teen, so long, long ago.

Having experienced living though several hurricanes, we're prepared for several days with no power day or night.

Visiting family up north about 18 years ago.

Done other things in the rain , but not dancing.

Eh, I don't dislike where I live, but I'd rather be somewhere in EU or the UK. Ive lived, or traveled extensively, throughout the US. Time to try another country.

Muttonbirds - I think they are only mainly eaten in Tasmania and New Zealand. They really stink terribly when you are cooking them.

2) Are you happy with where you live or would you prefer to live somewhere else?

I am happy with the city I live in.

Rented house.

I have had mice and guinea pigs but a long time ago

A first edition of ‘The Little Prince’ signed by Antoine De Saint-Exupery

Tasmanian devils

7) What make of car would you most like to own?

I don’t drive but I would learn if I could get the car that the Third Doctor drove.

Many years ago when my children were young. Maybe 35 years ago.

Yes, I have flashlights, battery operated lights, and hopefully my phone and iPad would be fully charged.

There are no regular passenger trains in Tasmania, only freight trains. The last time I was on a train was a special picnic train around 33 years ago.

Yes, my then boyfriend was embarrassed because I was dancing in the rain and tried to get me to stop despite the fact that there were several people dancing with me. That boyfriend did not last long.

Real life - Sir David Attenborough
Fictional - Sherlock Holmes

No, and after watching the whole cruise ship disaster play out early in the pandemic I never will take a cruise.
