More Jericho coming?

I do not really see the need for this. The series was wrapped up fairly nicely with all the questions being answered and a nice sense of thematic closure.

I wish the series had spent more time exploring the philosophical implications of the new society and less time trying to be an action/adventure series, but it still earned a place in my television viewing heart.

There was plenty of time for both, really, a la BSG. They touched on some interesting themes, such as the episode where Esai Morales' character tortures Jake ultimately because he's trying to keep the rivalries between the towns from exploding. And the topic and characters were interesting enough that I'd be willing to see more, regardless of how well or poorly they do it.

The whole government conspiracy angle should have been dropped. It became obvious that the writers didn't have a very sensible explanation (one that doesn't require powerful people to be massively, unbelievably stupid). It would have been better to leave it all an eerie mystery forever.

The interesting part was what happens after the attack anyway.
