Interesting. Yeah, it looks much more natural on the printed model.
Me too! Can't wait to see the Beyond Enterprise! Confession: I actually prefer that version to the final scene Ent-A! Something about swept-back nacelle pylons...![]()
Beyond Enterprise came out great!
Outstanding!
Thanks. This stuff is great! I'm wondering how hard it would be to print the TMP bridge stations in sections, in 1:6 scale. For the future... ;-P
That's great work MadMan1701A! They turned out wonderful! Do you think you'll be able to make the nu1701-A next?
Thanks.
It shouldn't be that hard... how big would each section be at 1:6?
Based on the 1:80 scale diagram, the bridge looks like it's 8m across, including the walls, so at 1:6 scale that's a whopping 1.33m across? The central section with the helm looks like 4m diameter railing to railing, so 0.66m across. The helm station looks like it takes up about half the width of the central section so roughly 33cm for helm and navigation? The other stations are each divided into 1/12 sections with stations of various sizes, two turbolift doors, and the viewer. Since some of the consoles are designed for standing crew, I suppose you'd be looking at 30cm tall! More if you want the periphery of the ship to be three steps higher than the central section.
Wow. It's big.
Your Beyond-E came out great! Can't wait to see what she looks like when finished.![]()
