Moments in DS9 that make you laugh!

Awww...but they have some of the funniest bits- like "Little Green Men"

Currently going through Season 5 of Deep Space Nine on Netflix.

So Quark is suddenly into selling root beer. Back in Season 3 or 4 he hated root beer and even prune juice when Worf arrived.

so why did Quark change his mind anyway? He even said root beer was too bubbly

Some of the things that Nog said in the earlier episodes like: "Perhaps, I'll even wash my lobes". Given the importance that the Ferengi attach to their lobes, it is a clear indicator that they have very questionable hygiene.:D

He runs a bar/eatery. I'm sure he sells many things that he doesn't personally like.

Probably the scene where Worf, Obrien and Bashir share a cell and they are explaining what happened to Sisko. Garak describing his beating, Odo kissing Quark and Quarks response and... Something that made me laugh that was not intentional was when Keiko, the possessed one, tells O'Brien to wake up. There are probably more but I cannot remember right now.

I keep recalling funny moments while angsting over the fact that there are no more episodes to rewatch ….

From “Rocks and Shoals”

O'BRIEN: Oh, no…
SISKO: What?
O'BRIEN: I don't believe it.
SISKO: What?
O'BRIEN: I tore my pants!
SISKO: You tore your pants-?
(both burst out laughing)
O'BRIEN: Yeah, I tore my pants-- guess I'm really in trouble now, huh?!

This has probably already been mentioned, but I've just rewatched "One Little Ship" and laughed at Julian apologising to Miles for badgering him: "I'm sorry. That was very small of me."
And right at the end when Odo and Quark (and M'pella) convince Julian and Miles that they're not quite as tall as they were originally. And then step down from the raised bit they were standing on  :rommie:

When Weyoun's next clone, just after the current one was executed by Worf asks Damar if Worf and Ezri have accepted to divulge information... Damar says "Maybe you should talk to Worf again."

Gallows humor.;)

That was rather good. Speaking of Weyoun, I often got a chuckle from his snark. Combs was fantastic.

"Tell me Damar. When you're alone do you even bother with a glass or do you just drink that swill directly from the bottle?"

or,

"You're right Dukat you have changed. You've gone from being a self-important egotist to a self-deluded madman - I'd hardly call that an improvement."

Rom and Quark crawling into Sisko's office though in The Magnificent Ferengi is probably the most memorable.

The station is attacked (I think it's The Way Of The Warrior) and we see Quark carrying a box and I believe he tells Odo: "With this, I can defend myself" or something like that. So Odo says "You're gonna hit them with the box?" and Quark: "No with the disruptor that's in it."

So he opens the box and there's a note from Rom where he says that he used the disruptor (part of it) to repair the replicator. So he says: "I am gonna kill him." and Odo says: "With what?" that was really funny. ;)
