Oh god help me.. I am not a fan of Neil Gaiman anything...
To play Moffat's Clues we gotta find a... (Crack!)
A Crack, right! And that's our first... (clue!)
A clue? (A clue!)
Then we put it in our... (notebook!)
Cause they're Moffat's Clues, Moffat's Clues!
We gotta find another crack, that's the second clue
We put it in our notebook
Cause they're whose clues? Moffat's Clues!
We gotta find the last Crack, that's the third clue
We put it in our notebook
Cause they're Moffat's Clues, Moffat's Clues!
You know what to do!
Sit down in our Thinking Chair and think...think...think!
Cause when we use our mind, take a step at a time we can do anything...that we wanna do!
(I was a Dad once.)
Or the Enterprise finale being usurped by TNG has-beens.Tennant coming back as a bad guy is the worst idea since Spike becoming a good guy in Buffy.
Yeah, me either. I'm assuming it either hit the cutting room floor, it was sooo "cheeky" we didn't catch it, or it's in Neil Gaiman's story that's been pushed to next year. Anyone?
Even as far back as the classic Who series, it was said that a Time Lord could be granted a new regeneration cycle--and thus presumably another twelve regenerations. The Master was even offered a new regeneration cycle by the Time Lords at one point...after this, the idea that there would only be thirteen Doctors seemed unlikely to me if the series ever went that far. Either there would be a fourteenth Doctor or a new first Doctor, IMO...
How about this scenario?
Doc 13 trips over a brick and appears to die. Does the whole glowy energy thing, regenerates. Sarah Jane Smith, who's back with him in a Very Special Crossover, says, "But I thought timelords have only 12 regenerations?"
Doc 14 says, "I'll explain it to you later," and off they stroll, arm in arm.
Yep, quite a few of us have made the same prediction. I hope it happens, too. A less throw-away approach would also work.I shamelessly and baselessly predict that the "regeneration limit" will be casually dispensed with using a throw-away line.
Wait - going back to the start, who was the Bad guy? We heard a voice in the last couple of episodes but we didn't see the Bad guy did we? It's still a mystery, right?

Yes, the big bad is still a mystery.
As far as the regen limit, I'm in the camp that thinks: no timelords, no limitations. He's already regenerated at least twice sine the timelords went away, so they aren't necessary to the process.

Yet both have taken place in the Tardis.
Something else to consider re regeneraton limit: Prisoner Zero. Matt Smith is Eleven.

The bid bad is Prisoner Zero. Moffatt said the big bad would make an appearance in The Eleventh Hour. Considering the last words Zero spoke in TEH was Silence will Fall in a very similar fashion to what we heard in the Tardis in The Big Bang (yep, go back and rewatch) it's highly likely this is who we're dealing with next season,

I doubt if it's Prisoner Zero, he'd be destoryed along with the rest of the universe, not a smart move to make. It might've been the shadow that appeared in one scene though behind the Doctor and Amy.
