nine classes? is that a prestige thing?
Yeah it sucks, but you have to deal with such people in pretty much every team-based FPS environment (short of prearranged matches).Yeah, that sounds about right. Some people don't play objective games for the objectives. They should just stick to TDM/MTDM/FFA if that's all they're interested in.

Of course, there are ways for game designers to give even "random" players a strong ingame incentive to go after the objectives at hand, but I guess some will always run off and engage in a death match![]()
i was playing Team Tactical (demolition on scrapyard) and after about five minutes this dickwad decided to have a go at me asking 'how do you fail so hard?' as i was running at something like 1 kill to 20-odd deaths.
i (sarcastically) replied 'skill'.
turned out, i was hosting so when some bitched about their lag, dickwad agreed and then moaned i was 4-37.
i just said 'whatever'.
i bombed one site in our attack round, i defused a bomb on their attack round and i downed a harrier, as well as attempting at least three bomb-plants. i think i contributed to our win even if i wasn't the best kill-spree guy going.
well, that's it, if i'm playing DOM, DEM, SAB, S&D or CTF, i'm usually trying to achieve the objectives not running around willy-bloody-nilly shooting people. at the very least, i try to provide air defence by shooting down helos, Harriers and attack choppers.
just cuz i'm not kill-streaking left right and centre doesn't mean i'm not achieving anything...
