There was speculation about that late last season, too, but he took a different route. Seems like he's declining fast.

They need to ban throwing curveballs/sliders/and sidearm before college. They should only throw fastballs and change ups. Throwing more fastballs builds arm strength and reduces arm fatigue and ratcheting from the severe off speed stuff.

Or Five Man Electrical Band and/or Tesla

Maybe a Weird Al-ified version would be in order.

So, the elephant in the room: coronavirus. The NBA has indefinitely suspended the rest of this season, NCAA is playing the Final Four to empty arenas, colleges & universities are cancelling sporting events (among other potential large gatherings of people) left and right.

I'm sure MLB teams will take a severe hit, whether they decide to delay the start of the season, or teams have to play in empty ballparks (either because local government has banned large gatherings or people just voluntarily don't want to go), but as long as the games still get played and aired on TV, the teams at least have that TV money coming in. What about MiLB? Most of those teams rely on gate, concessions, and the gift shop, especially if they're an independent team not part of someone's farm system. What happens to them? Will MLB support them, or do we potentially see a whole raft of teams go under?

Did MLB create the Corona virus in the Louisville Slugger labs as a way to get rid of minor league teams they no longer want around?! :shifty:

NCAA has now "cancelled" their tourney. NBA & NHL are suspended. MLB is delaying opening day at least 2 weeks.

It's the only way to go unfortunately. Too many people just on the teams to be in groups, let alone the fans.
