Tommy Tampon has been put on the Dl for the rest of the season by the Braves and it looks like his career is kaput. I`m so saddened by this news and I hope he has fun playing golf with his buddy Smotz. Thanks Atlanta for the two draft picks we got for him.
On to good pitchers, Johan threw a 3 hit CG game shutout yesterday and it looks like Pedro might be getting his groove back. He had 2 good starts back to back and we are finally beating the teams we need to beat. Its all fun beating the Angels, Phillies and Diamondbacks but its great to finally crush the teams that need to be crushed.

Man, the Rangers have atrocious pitching. The Sox had their way with them this series.

CC Sabathia is the shit.
He`s a great pitcher and I like how the Brewers know they are not gonna sign him so they pitch him till his arm falls off. I like a complete game as much as anybody (especially since my bullpen has trouble with little league teams) but with a seven run lead heading into the ninth, a 8ip game is just as good as a CG. We saw how CC was bad in the playoffs last year so why not rest him a bit so he can have a little more for a Brewers playoff push.
P.S. Nothing like a monday daygame against the pirates in which the starters pitch good games and the Pen gives it up like Tom Glavine against the Marlins. Oh well at least we went on a 6 game win streak last time it happened, so maybe we can sweep the Braves this week.
I don't know if you're going to get the sweep. The Braves always find a way to beat the Mets this year, but I wouldn't be surprised considering we can't seem to get a hit nowadays. I bet parking will drop down to $2 or $3 at Turner Field after this weekend.
