The next notable trade is 3B Ke'Bryan Hayes to the Reds for reliever Taylor Rogers and infield prospect Sammy Stafura. Not that this is a big trade, but Hayes is a recognizable name because the cheapskate Pirates inexplicably gave him one of those giant early bird contracts after his second season and it hasn't panned out.

There's some guy over in r/Buccos on Reddit who's been loudly agitating for the Pirates to trade Hayes since opening day (at one point someone flat-out asked the guy "Dude, I think he's overrated too, but why the hate? Did he bang your mom?"). I hope he's found a measure of peace with this trade.
