Anthony Rendon, baseball's highest paid 3B ever, was scheduled to make $38 million in 2026, the final year of one of the worst contracts in professional sports history. It will now be spread out over a few years. He won't declare his retirement and will have to be put put on IL.

So bad, they'll pay $38 million dollars to make him go aways instead of playing him.
