There is more than one store at the nearby mall that sells pro-fitted baseball caps. I went to one to get an idea of what size I'd need, tried out two different sizes that both fit to the point where I couldn't tell any difference. At another store, the exact same two sizes of the same cap from the same brand -- one was too small and the other was too big! WTF?!?!?!? The third store had the cap I wanted in the size I needed. Wasn't a perfect fit but wasn't too big either, but it was good enough.

Thanks for the link. As a casual A's fan (lived in Reno for four years, grew up loving Ricky Henderson), I applaud their efforts and I hope they're successful. I guess I'm just confused by the term and how they're able to suddenly have a surge of attendees. I get the free shirts enough motivation to come out and support for this particular day. It's just odd that there isn't a larger regular attendance of fans that are clearly there when there isn't free shit on the line.

Have you seen Major League? The A’s owner has been compared to the owner in Major League. He’s a billionaire who doesn’t spend on the A’s or even retrofits to the stadium and now is hellbent on going to Vegas. The fans don’t attend because there is no reason to attend. Tonight is trying to send a message to sell the team and reopen negotiations with Oakland on a new stadium.

Second, what is going on with the Cardinals. They are such a classic franchise that is typically well run but the Giants went into St. Louis and swept them. Today was come from behind fashion. Baseball has been weird lately.

The entire NL Central has a negative run diff. I realize that isn't an end-all be-all of stats, but pretty pathetic anyway. AL Central & NL East only have one team each with a plus run diff.

Both Central divisions have been the MLB's bottom tier for a while now.
