Astros / Cardinals would have me rooting for a meteor strike before the first pitch of Game 1.

I don't have much invested in this matchup, but I hate the Astros and my boy biggles is from Pennsylvania, so by the property of association, I have to support the Phillies. Besides, Bryce Harper owns and I want him to get a ring.

I got no problem cheering for the Phillies in this WS. I used to hate them, but not anymore. I had such a good time in Philly last month that I take back everything bad I ever said about them.

Plus, one of my uncles once pitched in the Phillies' minor league system. So there's that.

(I am NOT bitter at the Astros for sweeping the Yankees in the ALCS. Houston was clearly the better team in that series.)

Bryce Harper is earning every cent of that contract this postseason. That’s the primary reason I want Philly to win. A guy like that that is paid a fortune and takes over ballgames earning every dollar of that fortune deserves success.
