I actually find it hard to believe that this is literally the first time, in all baseball history, that the Dodgers and Giants have ever met in the postseason...

Yup, that sums up my feelings about that whole thing. Plus, it's simply weird that call couldn't be reviewed...all because of where the out took place. So damn weird and arbitrary.
Considering that such a feat would only be possible between 1994 (the beginning of the three-division alignment and Wild Card teams) and the present, I don't.
The Dodgers and Giants did face off in best of three tie-breakers for the pennant in 1951 and 1962 (the Giants won both times and advanced to the WS), but those aren't considered part of the postseason.
Before their were the Astro-ics* the were Giants.

It is really chaotic here in San Francisco, there's some true animosity towards the Dodgers* even tho the Giants had won 3 World Series in 2010, 2012, and 2014. My Mom is a Giants fan but my Dad, BF and rest of us are Yankees fans so we don't have much investment in this post-season except we did have an interest watching the Red Sox play against the Rays... the outcome was sick to our stomachs. We're rooting for the Giants to win because they're our home town team and cheerleaders for Mom who's wearing her gear ever since her team has returned to the post season.
*Calling them COVID Champions like the Lakers, dismissing their efforts as illegitimate.
I'm kinda hoping the Giants get in too, my favorite player once pitched for them.
So what are they going to do, have Yadi as player/manager?

After getting an underachieving team turned around just enough to get into the WC. Still, we have to remember the "Cardinal Way" isn't about coming from behind.
I'm not sure about 3/4 of the check-swing calls. Who made this particular one, the HP ump or a corner ump?
That rule really needs to be fixed.
Kind of hoping the Braves win the NLCS, simply because the Dodgers have had their fun in recent years.

Yeah. This has been a great postseason so far. Who says baseball can't be fun to watch!?!
I missed out on last night's game because I was traveling and my AirBNB doesn't have TBS. Sounded like it was another great nail-biter!
