Holy shit, what a dirty play.
On whose part?
If you mean Marisnick, then I agree, since he clearly had enough room to slide to the right.
Jesus! WTF? The outside lane was totally clear. He goes inside and hits Lucroy right in the head!

Wow, what the fuck. How the hell is that allowable? This isn't godsdamn American football.

Umps ruled it clean. Even though Marisnick had a clear, unobstructed path to the plate and Lucroy stepped into the infield to catch the errant throw.
What bullshit. How can he possibly think, even in the heat of the moment, let alone on review, that was clean? I swear to fucking gods...Umps ruled it clean. Even though Marisnick had a clear, unobstructed path to the plate and Lucroy stepped into the infield to catch the errant throw.
Reminds me of the dirty slide that Anthony Rizzo did on Elias Diaz last year, except about a hundred times worse.

I was just reading up on that; Cervelli's taken six in his professional career. I can't blame him for deciding to switch positions. In other catcher news, Francisco Cervelli says his days as a catcher are over, because he can't take another concussion.
Depending where you stay in Jersey, it can be just as expensive and if you drive into the Bronx way more traffic, going across the GWB.Hey, everyone! I’m thinking about taking a birthday roadtrip to NYC see the Yankees and A’s play in late August. For obvious reasons, I don’t want to deal with NYC traffic or hotel expenses, so I’m wondering if the best option is to stay in NJ and commute via mass transit. I’d appreciate any thoughts you guys have. Thanks!
In addition to the White Sox and Cubs, there is good minor league ball in Chicagoland. We particularly enjoy going to Geneva to see the Kane County Cougars, Class A affiliate of the Diamondbacks. It's actually a pretty good brand of baseball and they have a nice park and it comes without the cost and headaches of going to see one of the MLB teams.Took the boys to see the Syracuse Mets yesterday and had a wonderful time, even if they lost. The kids got to eat free (popcorn, hot dog, drink, and ice cream.) Sitting in the first row, they each got a foul ball, to run the bases after the game and watch Tim Tebow strike out 4 times.
Tim Tebow’s fourth strike out.
Ian & Aaron with their prized possessions

I would recommend Westchester NY, say Yonkers or the like and take the train to the stadium.
