MLB 17-18 Offseason: The Giants are preparing for EYBS' return

Danny will be happy -- supposedly Rogers is exploring selling the Blue Jays.

I'm a little behind on my BBS time, but hearing that did make me happy, but now its become a five year down the road thing, which means we have to suffer some more. Coupled with having Rogers screwing up my cable bill by $200 after I called and got a package that cost less, suffice to say, I'm really hating on them recently.

I don't think Stanton makes the Yankees untouchable. The Red Sox are going to be there again, so are the Indians. Seattle is making a run for it and who knows how the Angels will do with Ohtani.

A STANTONIAN blast...

Is anybody goin' to STAN-INTONE...

Finger over the "Ban User" button...

Anyway, Ken Rosenthal says that in addition to not wanting to negotiate with any pitchers wanting more than two or three years, now Manny Machado is available for "two young, controllable starting pitchers."

Orioles are openly tanking, y'all.

Maybe the Red Sox can send E-Rod back to the Orioles? hmmmm
I like the kid but I have some concerns about his injury history and his ability to pitch well consistently.

Good on Boras for shooting for the moon, because that's his job, but that's a contract the Cubs don't need, considering they already have three more years of Lester with a full no-trade. (Oh, and that little Heyward contract.)

Yeah, he's doing what a good agent should do. It's still batshit crazy though for any team to give Arrieta 7/200.

Go ahead Cashman. Sign him

Don't put her up to be some paragon of virtue, she's just as big a hack as he is. maybe worse, in that she still pretends she's doing serious work, whereas Sterling has long since stopped pretending he's a clown, and just owns it at this point.

Ohtani has a mild tear of his UCL and has received a platelet-rich plasma injection.

FFS. I didn't say she's a "paragon of virtue" but she's a hell of a lot better than clownboy. He's 79 - can't scream "Theeeeeeeeeee Yankees win!" forever. Or can he?

Honestly, at least since he knows the deal, I prefer him to her. He knows he's a clown, and plays the bit. She's just as shitty, just doesn't own up to playing the part. Listen to the two of them, and aside from the douchebag rehearsed HR calls, she's probably more embarrassing. "Of all the dramatic things..."

Ozuna to the Cardinals for Sandy Alcantara and three junk prospects.

The mother of all Marlins fire sales ("you thought 1997 and 2003 were bad? HOLD MY BEER") continues. With that kind of return, I imagine all the GMs at the meetings right now are punching, clawing and stabbing each other, screaming "ME FIRST, ME FIRST" about Yelich.

I'm going to ban you for a day if you say this again.

Only from Timby....

He was certainly happy enough to cheer for him when he was helping (that one time), and that was long after the steroid stuff, so it's crappy at best. All that "not a REAL Yankee" nonsense...

Said by someone that undoubtedly cheered big paki and Manny.

I never wanted him but he didn't curb my support of my team.

What's Ichiro doing now? Is he still a Marlin?

Can't wait to hear Sterling's HR call. "It's GONE-CARLO! All the way to STANTON ISLAND!"
This is probably pretty close

...and much to Timby's dismay, the Yankees radio broadcast is pretty good. I never listened to it before I got SXM in the car.

Break... Headley gone back to the Padres in exchange for a fella that will never wear pinstripes. 12.25m off the payroll.

I wonder if the Todd Father will remain a Yankee?
