There are two 1980s tunes I think of in particular. Sorry if they've been mentioned already.

One is "Voices Carry" by 'til Tuesday. It almost sounds like she's singing "This is scary"

And "Our Lips Are Sealed" by the Go-Go's which almost sounds like "How Does it Feel"--oh, and another by the Go-Go's is "Head Over Heels" which almost sound like "Get over here"--must have been all the drugs they were doing back in the day

For a while I thought they were saying:

"I'm gonna cut myself in half"

Fun story:

The Robbie WIlliamson song "Into the silence" - I always thought he was saying "Into the sidewalk".

So when the Mrs and I were in Vegas (while his concert was on) I said to my wife if we see him and he falls over I'm going to point at him and shout "Into the sidewalk" - then she corrected me and we had a good laugh about it,

I thought it sounded like "There's a kind of taco shell about you." Makes about as much sense either way.
