My city has a fairly large fall fair every September. Of course, with COVID, there was no fair in 2020 or 2021, but it's back this year (even though COVID is still very much here and our mortality rate is higher than it was in 2021). So to commemorate the occasion, our theme this week will be Fairs, Festivals and Carnivals. Your entry can depict anything from any type of fair, festival, etc: fall fairs, summer fairs, harvest festivals... you get the idea. This would also include larger events such as the Calgary Stampede or le Carnaval de Québec. Standard avatar contest rules apply: your entry must be no larger than 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB. All entries must be SFW! No media images, no fictional depictions of fairs: all images must be from real life (images from news programs covering the event are OK). Each entrant may enter up to three avatars. The contest will be open for about a week. My first entry is an evening shot of a small section of our local fair: Have fun!
