Sulu and 3 henchmen enter Sickbay

Kirk: What is this, Mister Sulu?

 

[Vanyel]

Sulu: Mr. Spock has orders to kill you. He will succeed…apparently. You will also appear to have killed him, after a fierce battle. Regrettable, but it will leave me in command.

 

[LeadHead]

One by one Sulu's Henchmen disappear, thanks to Marlena using the Tantalus device. Kirk disarms Sulu and knocks him out.

Scotty: Captain, we've barely got 10 minutes.

 

[Vanyel]

Kirk: Let’s go Bones.

 

[LeadHead]

McCoy: I can't let him die Jim. You get on to the Transporter Room. I'll be there in 5 minutes.

 

[Vanyel]

Kirk: No longer.

 

[LeadHead]

McCoy: I guarantee it. Now, go on, please.

 

[Vanyel]

Spock awakens and grabs Bones.
Spock: Why did the Captain let me live? Our minds are merging Doctor. Our minds are one. I feel what you feel. I know what you know.

 

[LeadHead]

In the transporter room, Marlena is waiting for the landing party. Marlena hides a phaser behind her back. Scotty and Uhura begin to react to her presence.

Kirk: A friend, activate the Transporter. You saved us back at Sickbay with the Tantalus field.

 

[Vanyel]

Marlena: Take me with you.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: I can't, I'm sorry. Our power is balanced for 4. There's no guarantee that we'll make it with 5. All could die. Scotty?

 

[Vanyel]

Scotty: It’s working, sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Marlena: But there are only 3 of you.

 

[Vanyel]

Kirk: One is coming. I’d help if I could, Marlena, believe that. (Marlena pulls a phaser) If you kill us, you’ll still stay. (Uhura disarms Marlena). Where’s McCoy? Time Scotty?

 

[LeadHead]

Scotty: 5 minutes, Sir.

 

[Vanyel]

Marlena: Do you know what they’ll do to me?

 

[LeadHead]

Scotty: The power's cut, Sir. They're onto us.

 

[Vanyel]

Kirk: Auxiliary.
