Uhura: (Slapping Sulu) I’m afraid I changed my mind again.

 

[LeadHead]

Sulu: You take a lot of chances, Lieutenant.

 

[Vanyel]

Uhura: So do you Mister. So do you. (She backs up to the turbolift holding her knife towards Sulu.) Take over for me. (She enters the lift.) Mr. Scott, all clear, I'm on my way to sickbay.

[Jefferies tube]

MCCOY: Now it's up to the captain.

 

[Vanyel]

Meanwhile in the transporter room. Spock surprises Kirk who is working on the transporter controls.
Spock: You'll please restrict your movements, Captain. What are you doing?

 

[Enterprise1981]

KIRK: What are you doing? Are you going to shoot me now, Spock? I thought I had until dawn.

 

[Vanyel]

Spock: I shall make that decision. Since your return from the planet you have behaved in a most atypical and illogical manner. I want to know why.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Shoot. You're wasting time.

 

[Vanyel]

Spock: I shall not waste time with you. You're too inflexible, too disciplined once you've made up your mind. But Dr. McCoy has a plenitude of human weaknesses. Sentimental, soft. You may not tell me what I want to know but he will.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: You're running a big risk, Mister Spock.

 

[Vanyel]

Spock: I have the phaser, Captain. And don not intend to disappear as so many of your opponents have in the past. Would you please, sickbay. (They enter sickbay) Yes, of course, the entire landing party. Captain stand over there. Doctor it is time for answers.
Kirk attacks Spock. Spock quickly shaves for the fight and then, just as quickly, grows his beard back.

 

[LeadHead]

After a battle with all 4 of the landing party, Kirk hits Spock in the head with a large skull, knocking him out.

Kirk: How much time, Scotty?

 

[Vanyel]

Scotty: Hardly 15 minutes, sir. The field density between the two Universes is starting to close very fast.

 

[LeadHead]

McCoy: Help me get him onto the table. Well, come on. Help me get him onto the table. He'll die without immediate treatment.

 

[Vanyel]

Kirk: Every thing laid in Scotty? The time lag so the operator can get into the transporter chamber.

 

[LeadHead]

Scotty: All laid in, Sir. Come on, McCoy! We're taking a chance on not getting back home!

 

[Vanyel]

Bones: Well get home. This won’t take long.

 

[LeadHead]

Marlena watches from Kirks Quarters using the Tantalus Device viewscreen

Scotty: 14 minutes. We've got to go!

 

[Vanyel]

Bones: Shut up! I can save his life! You want me to stop Jim? It’ll only take a minute.
