Not being critical here, but how would informing him about the nature of sex ruin his childhood? It depends on the atmosphere in which you are raised then. My son is innocent of what sex is (other than teaching him what his private parts are and that no one but him can touch them, except a doctor if something is wrong with said private parts) and until he asks/or hits puberty, I'm going to let him enjoy his childhood! Filled with Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny!

Well, it can be. Didn't seem to ruin anything for me, anyway. But to each their own. I think I asked around age 5 or 6. I didn't understand how your body knew when two people were married so as to start growing a child. It is not part of childhood to know about sex.
You poor thing. Judging from your experience, no one is too young to have bad ideas implanted his mind.At 10 I was already an atheist who knew about sex and was more than a little interested in getting the girl down the block to touch my weener - or at least let me kiss her. No one is ever too young to have a good idea pressed into their minds.
Young, impressionable girls don't need to hear from a girl celebrity. They need to hear from their parents.I don't see anything wrong with this. Promoting safe sex is a good thing and hearing from a young girl who young girls look up to makes it all the better.
Unless their parents are abstinence-only nutjobs who expect their kids to deny their most primal instincts and desires. Hearing about safe sex from as many sources as possible couldn't hurt.Young, impressionable girls don't need to hear from a girl celebrity. They need to hear from their parents.
That's the irresponsible, secular progressive viewpoint. Here's to "abstinence-only nutjobs." Their kids are less likely to wind up pregnant at an early age, drop out of school and end up on welfare.Unless their parents are abstinence-only nutjobs who expect their kids to deny their most primal instincts and desires. Dude. 15.
She's also gone (mostly) through puberty and presents the secondary sex characteristics of her adult counterparts. (Hips, beasts.)
.
Tell me about it. I'm actually delighted that my youngest sis at the age of 13 still is a little kid. I love that she's still doing little girl stuff and all that, both me and my older little sis where way more grown up at 13 and I don't really know if it where for the best.maybe they could partner with Disney to offer branded condoms.
"with mouse ears, for her pleasure"
Seriously, though, I don't think we let our kids be kids.
Miley Cyrus+Condoms=One fantastic evening!

Only the ones that grow up in a one parent household. If there are two parents that love and give time to their daughters, they don't go and get fucked to get knocked up. You'll never hear the likes of Ivanka Trump or Arnold Schwarzenneger's daughters getting knocked up at 15.15 year olds DO have sex.
15 year old DO get pregnant.
It is not part of childhood to know about sex...I knew nothing of it until my early teen years and I liked it that way

I was like that and didn't know about any of that until sex education during Year 7 in high school at 12 years-old ...... Most of it didn't really seem that relevant anyway, until Puberty stuff started around mid 14.

You were in high-school for 7 years?
