Are they coming out with a new one this year?
Anyone know?

^ Wasn't there an expansion for FSX released recently?
I'm interested in seeing how DCS turns out myself.![]()
That's a bit odd, since the original was made by Kuju, which recently released Rail Simulator, an unofficial sequel IMO. If MS was interested in a sequel, why didn't they just publish RS and call it TS2?I think a lot of that team may be working on Train Simulator 2 which is based on the FS X engine and due out early next year. I am not sure thats the reason nothing is coming out for FS, but it is possibly part of it.

I've never played any of these flight simulators. I've always wondered how accurate they are.....

For instrument training, pretty dead on.

MS Flight Sim was around even before the 80286.
In fact is started out on the Commodore 64 (Wanted it on that platform but never the floppy drive for it).
When we got our first DOS based system in late 1984 was able to get a copy of MS Flight Simulator 2 which I played a bit though didn't have the joystick.
