Not sure if this should just go in the main NFL thread or not, but ESPN and CBS are both reporting that Michael Vick has signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Personally, with the Eagles being my second team (GO TITANS!!!) I'm okay with this. Let's see what happens

But boy, I hope the Eagles are ready for the oncoming storm...

Agreed.

Betting on games is hardly on the level of abusing dogs and making them fight to the bloody death. If Vick gets another chance, so should Rose.

In all seriousness, the man deserves a second chance, especially when you've got people playing in the NFL who've killed humans. And he seems to be making all the right moves, working with the Humane Society, being mentored by Tony Dungy.

Eagles brought him in to... umm... maybe some Wildcat? Kolb went down, maybe his injury is worse than anybody's realizing and they don't wanna rely on Feeley? I'm sure Reid and co. have a good reason and some good use for him to risk the nighmare known as Michael Vick + Philly fans.

Vick, if he turns out to have really turned his life around, serves as a much better lesson; if he hasn't, that'll bear out pretty soon. I trust Tony Dungy.

Stallworth killed somebody. I don't care if it was an accident. Like Vick, his sole second chance should be limited to not being in prison.

As for Ray-ray, well, there seems to be some confusion as to exactly what he did. His guilt isn't nearly as obvious as Stallworth or Vick. So banning him permanently would be premature.
