I seem to recall Dorn saying when DS9 was over he wished that he had a bit more to do in the series. In season 7 Worf was eclipsed by Martok a lot. Not a bad thing, Martok was a fantastic character.
I'm not trying to be an ass, but I thought that Worf had way too much to do on DS9. What did he want, a series devoted completely to his character?
