Michael Bay to remake Back To The Future movies

Armageddon needs to cut about 2:30 from its runtime. Making oil drillers out of astronauts harder than making astronauts out of oil drillers, gimme a break.

OMG... I just about had a heart attack.. Thank god it was fake...

I can now go about my day... whew!!!!

The creators of BttF said they will never remake it or make a sequel as long as they are alive. Pretty much hinted at that as soon as they are dead, and before their bodies are even cold, that the studio will remake the movies.

You could explain how Biff came back into the original 2015 after giving himself the almanac. ;)

Look closely, you'll see the background subtely changing while he gets out and Marty and Doc come running to get into the DeLorean, showing the timeline rearranging itself.

^ Yup. Doc's chalkboard chart, implying that timeline changes create totally alternate, parallel timelines, isn't quite accurate. There's only one timeline, though it can obviously be modified. And in this deleted scene, 2015 Biff vanishes, due to, in Zemeckis' and Gale's theory, having been finally killed by Lorraine somewhere around 1995, and thus no longer existing:

But not only is it a pants-wettingly terrifying scene, especially when we haven't yet witnessed the Trumpian evil young Biff will grow into, it isn't specifically explained by anything the movie shows us later, so it was cut.

They could make a sequel that explains why the world of the last few years ended up absolutely nothing like the 2015 of BttF2, with our heroes trying to reset the timeline to make it that way. I want my hoverboard already!

^ Isn't there a complete blu-ray set short film that addresses that? Guess you're not a real fan, are you? :p
