If it helps, by all means. It wasn’t a shot at your use of Fitbit, just a friendly reminder that you are the source of your power to effect changes in your life. You got this. :bolian:

Took today off. I messaged yesterday when I knew I had too. Did not sleep well last night again. Lawyer and plumber stuff in the morning, old owner showed up again with something that he'd forgot to leave and asking for the second half of the money for the stuff they left. I had to pay. Did some shopping, a friend and her granddaughter stopped by to see the place. Did a lot more unpacking and cleaning. Got the shower clean enough to use. Only a few boxes left in living, kitchen, and dining room. Almost time to venture into the spare room where most boxes are & clean my old apartment. The bathroom is a problem, less storage than my old place. Need to get storage racks for the laundry room and basement.

Caught a few glimpses of the view as I unpacked, reminding me why I bought this place. Still not happy with it, not since all the additional baggage from the problems. Still focused on the negatives.

Anxiety all day, borderline on attacks a couple of times, but never crossed into one. Bad again at night and I lay in bed. Not looking forward to tomorrow. Returing to work with all this going on. Work itself being so busy (as if it ever eases up). At my computer up on the dining room table with the river behind it for tomorrow since my desk is buried. Probably be working there for a couple weeks at least.

Supposed to have a BBQ dinner for my friends who stored my stuff for the just year on Saturday but I dunno if I can get it in. Have so much to do...

I set up a Dr.s appointment for tomorrow morning. Will they be able to do the test or evaluation or whatever, or will I just get a referral to someone else who will do it?

Likely a referral as testing usually takes a couple of appointments. A primary care usually isn't doing this. Usually a psychologist or psychiatrist, and two clinical interviews for history and presenting symptoms.

Could be wrong.

So no more hot water at all. Completely stopped working yesterday. Messaged the plumbers but since the whole tank is being replaced in a week it's not worth spending money on.

Mail for the former owner came in today, my anxiety has been high since. I'm going to collect it until Friday and then message him but I don't like leaving things. If something comes up I have to do it, get it over with, but if I messaged today I'd have to message him every day. So better to do it just once at the end of the week

Did some "fun" unpacking last night. Screwed in the legs to my new, fancy live edge epoxy river table (bit of a stressful job, have to be careful not to crack the wood so drilled pilot holes and then hand screwed a quarter turn at a time). Set up my BBQ/smoker. Moved a bunch of stuff to the shed that doesn't need to be in the house.

Landlord is having repairs and cleaning done. He asked me when I could be out. I said I planned on doing my own work on the place Sunday but if he was willing to wave that I could be out Thursday night. He agreed so that his guy can do the work Friday. So that's one less thing off my plate, just need to do another run to finish emptying everything from my apartment.

I have a massage tonight will hopefully help my sore muscles and relax me. Will have to do a cold shower before I go.

Had my Dr. (or technically the woman I see is a nurse practitioner) and she put in the referral to see a psychiatrist for the autism evaluation, now I just need to hear back. She warned me that it could be 2 or 3 months before I get it, which is a little disappointing, because I was really hoping to get in sooner so I could get working on the applying for disability ASAP.

2 to 3 months is amazing time frame. All the psychiatrists in my area are 9 months to a year out, at the short end.

That's an incredible turnaround.

Wow, I didn't realize I was that lucky, I guess I can't complain then.

Start applying anyway. It's not a quick process.

...did you? ;)
No, I never did, but I think I will now. I forgot about it before.

If I'm going to do it for autism, won't I need to wait until I have the official diagnosis?
EDIT: I just took the test, and I got a 22/80, and it says anything under a 30 indicates a lack of empathy common with people with autism or Aspergers.

A bit higher than my diagnosed friend, but still in the AS/HFA group
